Water Resources Management Plan
Every five years we produce a Water Resources Management Plan which sets out how demand for water is balanced against the supply over the next 25-year period.
We undertook a public consultation on our draft Water Resources Management Plan from 7 May to 27 August 2008.All comments made as part of the consultation are available to view at our consultation website from 31 October 2008:

A statement in response to the public consultation will be published in February 2009, in accordance with Defra's Water Resources Management Plan Direction (England) 2008.
The Statement will summarise the responses received and explain how the comments have been considered in our revised draft Plan, which will be submitted to Defra in Spring 2009.
