This page highlights the core training paths offered in the Thames Water apprenticeship scheme and the level of qualifications needed to apply.
Engineering maintenance
This path offers an opportunity to work with the latest engineering technologies, and focuses on the fields of mechanical, electrical and electronic instrumentation maintenance.
Applicants will have at least four GCSE's at grade C or above, including English and Maths, and may be taking a BTEC qualification.
Water treatment process
This path is perfect for those who have an interest in science and the environment, with various opportunities at Thames Water Sewage Treatment and Water Treatment Works on offer.
Over a two-year period you will learn the operating and distribution processes that produce clean water, whilst studying for a BTEC National Certificate.
