Training and benefits

Our Graduate Programme takes at least eighteen months to complete and features the following:

  • Structured professional development and support package that leads to Chartership status in engineering and in Finance the C.I.M.A. qualification.
  • Practical work assignments to enable our graduates to develop skills, gain relevant work experiences and to quickly make a contribution to Thames Water.
  • Regular review and feedback with a senior manager / mentor, to support and coach you to make the best of your abilities.
  • Training in essential personal effectiveness skills and business orientation and awareness to help you develop your professional career.
  • A mix of on site and external training and development activities.

The starting salary is £23,000 per annum plus a £2,000 joining bonus.

A full range of benefits is also provided including 26 days holiday, pension scheme, and up to £5,000 interest free loan.

Sports, social and various opportunities to be involved in community and fundraising activities are also part of the package.
