We are continually investing in our water and sewerage assets to improve the quality of the drinking water supplied to our customers and the wastewater effluent discharged to the environment.

Planning new projects - Environmental impact assessments

When planning new projects such as new pipelines or work to existing assets, we work closely with design engineers, partners, construction specialists and contractors to avoid having an adverse impact on the environment and to eliminate or reduce potentially damaging effects. We carry out Environmental Impact Assessments on a wide range of projects and operate an award winning conservation and heritage screening programme for engineering schemes.
