WaterAid supporter's trip to Uganda
Each year, our principal charity WaterAid organises a trip for its supporters to visit developing countries that are struggling to live without clean water and sanitation.
The trip enables WaterAid supporters to learn about the charity's work through personal experience, enabling them to return to the UK with greater knowledge and renewed motivation to be effective fundraisers and advocates.
Thames Water sponsors one employee to go on this life changing trip - to experience first hand the impact that living without clean water and sanitation has on people's lives.
This year, Anish Shah, a Thames Water employee visited Uganda to learn how people in developing countries struggle to live without clean water and sanitation.
