We work in partnership with several organisations to promote water efficiency.
Gardening
- Water efficient garden, London Zoo
- This water efficient garden at London Zoo was based upon the winning design in a competition we ran to promote sensible use of water in the garden.
- Water efficient garden, Kew Gardens
- We sponsor a water efficient garden at Kew Gardens, which has been extended and improved to incorporate new species of drought-resistant plants and bushes.
Business
- Slough Trading Estate
- We have been working with the Slough Estates Group (SEGRO) and Slough Heat & Power to encourage the businesses on Slough Trading Estate to reduce their annual water consumption.
- ENVIBE programme
- London Borough of Croydon Council's ENVIBE programme gives hands on support and rewards environmental business excellence.
- Global Action Plan
- Global Action Plan is the practical environmental charity that helps people to make positive changes at home, at work, at school and in the wider community.
- Workspace
- We are supporting Workspace Group plc facilities managers in providing free water audits and water saving advice across the Workspace property portfolio.
- Liquid assets project
- The Liquid assets project began in early 2006 and aimed to establish the level of water saving that could be achieved through improved water efficiency in the public sector.
Sport
- Football clubs
- Since 2003 we have worked alongside several football clubs to promote water efficiency, our campaigns were recognised in the Environment Agency Water Efficiency Awards 2005 and 2007.
- Reading University Boating Club
- We have worked with Reading University Boating Club to promote water efficiency in sport.
- Oxford Greyhound Stadium
- We have worked with Oxford Greyhound Stadium to promote water efficiency in sport.
