Network improvement programme

We are undertaking a large engineering project to ensure that our network lasts longer, and that our water is supplied efficiently.

Our network improvement programme focuses on two main areas:

• Dividing up large water supply areas into smaller areas.
• Managing water pressure to ensure our network last longer.

Smaller water supply areas help us deliver water more efficiently and meet local demands.

Water pressure varies widely throughout the day, and this change puts a strain on our mains, meaning they are more likely to leak or burst.
