Age Concern - Reading Silver Surfers Club
In partnership with Age Concern Berkshire, BT and the John Madejski Academy, we have helped set up a Silver Surfers Club for Reading.
The sessions offer an opportunity for complete beginners to have individual tuition from a patient volunteer in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, teaching people at their own pace.We had several employee volunteers at the launch event in February, and volunteers attend the club on a weekly basis.
The Silver Surfer Network will help many more people to connect with each other, with valuable information and services to improve their quality of life.
